Req: allow multiple simultaneous file operations

While a file operation is in progress, a little dialog box appears to show the progress. Unfortunately, this box blocks the entire UI, so you are forced to wait until that operation is finished before you can do something else. This is especially cumbersome when copying or moving large amounts of data.

It would be great if it was possible to continue using the main window(s) or even launch other file operations simultaneously.

this looks to be quite convenient feature

At least why copy should not block all instance windows with one activity dialog: that was bug 90 (no modality for the copy/pack dialogs)

All in all - app's looking great, keep it rolling.

It has been suggested that we take inspiration from SuperCopier. Might be worth a look.

This enhancement request seems to be very long standing. Maybe if I will have time, I'll try to get it done, but this is very unlikely since I can only work evenings when I am usually tired and prefer to watch some movie :).
